TrustMark Roofing recently did a roof and deck replacement for this Roswell homeowner. We removed all of the old shingles. Once these and the underlayment were removed, we found a surprise that involved spaced decking. According to the IRC Residential Code, space decking at a certain measurement must be replaced with new decking to provide a solid and nail-able service.
This was an insurance claim from a hailstorm, and we were able to work with the homeowner’s insurance company and ensured that all the extra work and materials were covered and paid for by their insurance company.

“We love our new roof. We were amazed that at one time during the day we could look up in our home and see the sky. We thought they won’t be finished by today and figured we’d have to sleep with an open roof. We were so pleased that by the end of the day, the crew had the sheathing installed and the entire roof installed. We were especially excited that Jennifer from TrustMark Roofing was able to work with our insurance company so that we could utilize our policy to its full potential.”
